Overview

Mobile App Concept:
HH Museum is an app design that enhances visitor experiences while promoting community engagement and social impact.

Our application is a testament to thoughtful design and user-centric principles. It boasts seamless navigation that ensures intuitive exploration, dynamic interactive features that elevate engagement, and visually striking layouts tailored to resonate with diverse audiences.

Every element has been crafted to deliver accessibility and inclusivity, creating an experience that feels effortless and immersive for all users.

Research

User Research Summary:

The museum design was based on extensive research to ensure that it actually resonated with its visitors. We have conducted user interviews and surveys to understand visitor behavior, trends, and requirements to tailor the experience to meet their expectations. We also consulted accessibility standards and best practice to create an inclusive space for a wide range of people. This research informed every step of the design process, ensuring the final product not only was technically robust but also promoted meaningful interaction and learning experiences.

 

Persona: Emily

This persona is an art student driven by a passion for discovering and understanding art in all its forms. They thrive on exploring museums, uncovering hidden gems, and immersing themselves in exhibitions that spark inspiration and creativity. With a strong desire to deepen their knowledge of art history and contemporary movements, they actively seek opportunities to learn and grow.

We had a well-defined vision for the components that would form the foundation of the design.

Utilizing rapid iteration with custom-built elements proved to be instrumental in streamlining the brainstorming process and refining the overall structure

Prototypes

Initial Mockup

– Designed a straightforward and intuitive login process to ensure seamless user onboarding.

– Developed a user-friendly homescreen that serves as the central hub for navigation.

– Integrated a QR reader for quick access to exhibit-related content and features.

– Included an audio tour functionality to enhance the visitor experience through guided narratives.

– Created dedicated exhibit pages to provide detailed information, multimedia content, and interactive elements for deeper engagement.

Second Mockup

-Defined and implemented brand colors to create a cohesive and visually appealing design language

– Curated high-quality imagery that aligns with and reinforces the brand’s tone and message

-Designed an initial logo, later refined for improved visibility and user recognition

– Developed an intuitive QR Code Scanner with interactive features to enhance functionality

– Crafted an engaging Audio Tour interface with accessible media controls for seamless user interaction
